Author's Note: This contains suicide in the end, so if you are uncomfortable with suicide please don't read the poem or have someone look over it. This poem was inspired by a good friend of mine, Seth, who was different than others and his parents rejected him. He ended up moving away at 18 and killing himself because he felt no one loved him. R.I.P
you could never accept me
not for who I became,
but for who I truly was
you shunned me
and put me
in the shadows
surrounded by dark auras
of evil shadows
poking me everywhere
I wasn't like everyone else
I was different
and I knew that,
it was just about your image, not mine
pity was thrown on me,
but there is no bringing me back
to where I used to be
my life is flashing before my eyes
blink -
flash -
crash
keep throwing your beautiful red roses
on my desolate hardened grave
with my one last tear
with my one last tear,
I fall
can you forgive me?
