Hey everyone! We're writing on the first day of the new year (goes to show you how long you have to wait to get an article published sometimes, huh?).
Anyway, we've
been on Whyville since 2000 and ever since we've been hearing the annoying phrase, "You wanna go out?" This is really getting annoying. Not only are people we have never met before are asking us and others out, but WE HAVE NO CLUE WHO THEY ARE (which includes, what type of person they are, if they're annoying or are a good conversationalist, etc.).
We're sure there was another article in the Times in the past about 'please stop hitting on people' (Why War Zone? by Derik45). That was a good article, but we just don't think people really cared.
People! Stop hitting on people! It's annoying!!! Besides, virtual relationships are
really... outta touch. For one thing, you have no clue whether the guy or
girl you're dating is actually a really old person playing a kid. The person you
may be dating may also be different gender than you expected! Scary, huh? So
think twice before you go out with someone and, oh yea... DON'T HIT ON PEOPLE!!!
We think it's okay if you're friends and you work your way to the top, but DON'T HIT ON PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHO THEY ARE!!! Because it's
annoying!!
