Hey'all This Is PilSung, some of you might know me and some of you might not. This article is going to tell you something I really need all Whyvillians to realize, so listen up!

Vixen68 had a great point when she said that most "oldbies" are rude to newbies, which I admit is pretty bad. Whyville is our community, our Town, and if someone moved next door to you (a newbie), you shouldn't go over there and start making comments you will regret making later.

But the point I am trying to make isn't about the way newbies are treated -- on the contrary! I have earned little respect in Whyville. I haven't been here as long as other Whyvillians have, but long enough to realize Whyvillians are not taking advantage of the "oldbies" advice. We all have to remember that the oldbies made this town for us and they know it inside out.

Now personally I would LOVE it if Whyvillians knew me when I entered Whyville Square or went into the Pool Party. I would enjoy it if I were popular among Whyvillians because I give clams every day to Newbies, Oldbies, or anyone that asks. I do not make a healthy salary, but I want to be given the chance to be respected as an Oldbie, which I consider myself to be.

To cut to the chase, I want all Whyvillians to know that Oldbies are very knowledgeable -- I am talking about Charity, Vanilla, etc. I want to be respected like them, but before that happens we need to recognize the old old oldbies that started it all for us.

And now for something a little different...

I would like to thank Renni for daring me to say "Hi!" to and newbie or an oldbie. I took that dare.

I said hello to five people (whose names I will not mention because it would not be a respectful Whyvillian thing to say). All five didn't accept me, but I thought to myself, maybe next time they will realize that they were rude to me and that an oldbie is trying to help.

Not everyone wants help, but if you do come up to me and say, "PilSung, do you have enough clams to spare me some?" or "Do you have any face parts that you don't like?" I will probably do my best to help you because I LOVE HELPING NEWBIES!

Please repeat after me, all oldbies:

I _____, will always do my best to help a newbie or fellow Whyvillian in need. I will not criticize newbies because they have to use ears for their eyes, and I will realize that it is MY FAULT because I didn't donate to Dear Old Grandma, and I will be thankful for everything oldbies gave to me when I was new. And, I will always respect all Whyvillians equally.

Newbies, please repeat after me:

I will not be afraid to ask a fellow Whyvillian for something I need, but I will not harass them until I get what I want or until they warn me. I will respect all Whyvillians equally.

This is Pilsung signing out, reminding YOU that you should respect Oldbies, and reminding Oldbies that they will always be respected. And don't forget to say Hi to me sometime!

-Pilsung ;)
