Hey people of Whyville,
This is my first time writing, so I hope I get a lot of replies on this one!
Ya know what really makes me mad!? Typical people! Same old boring people!
I like different! I like to be different. Have you ever noticed that about 3/4 of
all Whyville girls have blonde hair? I mean, come on, it's boring! Be different!
Be yourself! Be original! Me, I try to be different all the time.
One day while I was at the Pool Party I said to the Whyvillians, "Why can't
everyone be different? Almost everyone in here has blonde hair and blue eyes!"
and this girl whispers me, "It isn't wrong, it's just not attractive!"
I was thinking to myself, what could be wrong with being different? I mean sure, I was a blonde hair blue eyed girl on Whyville once, but guys would say, "You're hot, will you go out with me?" all the time, and I would think, how could this guy think I'm hot when everyone else looks the same as I do?
I know there are some people out there that despise preps, jocks, snobs, etc.
They like to be different, and that I congratulate them on, because in Whyville it's not always easy to be different! And that's why I was thinking of a contest.
I know someone already had an idea on here for a "be different" contest, but I want to have a contest with people who are VERY, VERY different!
So, if you are different and want to enter in the contest, just Why-mail me and tell me why YOU think you are different and what makes you different from all the other Whyvillians!!
After I go through all the submissions (it'll be about a week after this article is published in the Times), I will take 5 Whyvillians (boys or girls) who are the most different and give them prizes. I'm not going to tell what the prize will be, because I want YOU to motivate yourself to go out and make yourself the very most different Whyvillian!!
