Snow, accounts, petitions, clams, games, chats, houses, plots are all the
things City Hall has supported us with. I'd just like to take time to say,
"THANK YOU CITY HALL, YOU HAVE DONE SO MUCH!"
Very few of us think about the people at City Hall working their hardest everyday. Even though we never really take time to thank City Hall, we have the time to complain, such as when a new aspect is added to Whyville (like Passes). They hear many negative responses and so few positive responses. Even when we do enjoy things (like snow or a ball) we ignore that City Hall has been working so hard for them, and for us.
When Why-Passes were announced many went straight to the petitions to
argue. While others who loved the idea wouldn't bother with the fact.
Personally I would prefer without Passes, even though I think they are a great
idea!
We have to think of how much money City Hall is spending on their own (money that comes from their pocket)! Why-Passes will ease the stress on
City Hall and help us get the changes we want (in my case, a friend list to find people in Whyville) or the "Match Maker", restaurant, better mall or whatever it is!! Previously, City Hall announced that if we want a restaurant, we can find a sponsor and help make it happen that much sooner! I am sure one of you Whyvillians must know someone willing to do this.
I went to the petitions, and I found hundreds of petitions posting "No
more Why-Passes". I couldn't find one petition saying, "Thank City Hall!" Although, a few days ago I was able to find two such petitions!! I would really like to thank those two people who posted those. Also, there were a few optismtic people who cannot buy Why-Passes but had the idea to give one out each week, and I thank you, too, for your creative solution.
Whyville is almost perfect, so help our town down the road by showing
respect for everyone, especially City Hall!! And show more gratitude.
