For the past few days, I've actually had a nice sleep pattern. I fall asleep by 10 and wake up at 5 or 6 AM, or 2 or 3 AM Whytime. I'm up before the rest of my family, so whenever I wake up I get my laptop and browse Whyville. I usually go in the Newbie Center because believe it or not, Newbies are basically the only people who are on at that time in the morning..
The other day, one girl appeared in the Newbie Center and she asked a few questions. She was wearing a hair that I made and she kept saying it was nice. I talked to her for a bit and it turns out she's from Jordan and she can speak Arabic, French, Russian, and English. What other place than Whyville would I meet someone from Jordan, especially someone who knows four different languages that all use three different alphabets? She must be very smart if she can do that.
After doing that, I browsed around and went to Pool Party and found her again. We talked a bit more and then another Newbie came in. He was about our age and from Ireland. He was a funny guy. I would never have met him without being on Whyville.
I have met people from Australia, England, Japan, Jordan, Ireland, France, Canada, Mexico, the United States, and Spain at this time in the morning on Whyville. It's as if it is an organized event, and at this event, interesting people from all over go on Whyville.
I know that some of you may think that I'm rambling over something that is insignificant and not worth your time, but it amazes me because it allows me to see Whyville in action; you get to meet others that you otherwise would never have come into contact with.
My conclusion is that Whyville is a wonderful place in the morning. You probably won't find your friends but you'll make some very interesting ones. Everyone should try at least once to go on at this time and look around and ask everyone where they're from.
See you then,
