"And I wait, for her to come. She won't break my heart, cause I know, she'll be from Australia" -Jonas Brothers, "Australia".
Haha, okay so that doesn't really have ANYTHING to do with Australia, but it's the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word.
Okay well obviously this article is going to be about the magnificent, the awesome, the fantastic . . . Australia!
Being a tropical country, Australia has many beautiful places to visit that you can't see anywhere else, as well as interesting culture.
One truly amazing tourist destination is Kakadu National Park. The park is run by mainly aboriginal people who share it with tourists. In this park you can see many natural wonders and beautiful sights. It's located at the north tip of Australia. You can see rock paintings, painted by aboriginal people of the past as well as waterfalls, pools of water, crocodiles and many other animals. It's beauty is hard to describe in words so I will show you a picture. Yeah sure the picture is of termite mounds, but come on! Look at how amazing it is!
Another beautiful place is Uluru. Located right smack in the middle of Australia, Uluru is the red desert. The red sand is beautiful and unique. Erosion has even caused some beautiful rock formations!
Now I don't just want to show you the tourist destinations. I also have to show you some of the outstanding culture!
Music
One of the most famous Australian musical instruments is the Didgeridoo. It is a five foot long wind instrument handcrafted from bamboo. It is an instrument that is usually only used during ceremonies.
