Individuality

I think being different is cool,
On Whyville or at school.

As long as you're happy, you shouldn't care,
As long as you're not going to school bare.

Instead of just being ordinary,
You should be extraordinary.

Be whoever you want, as long as you're happy,
But if you're not, I'll give you a slappy!

Newbie

As a newbie I am a scared timid little kitten,
A worried hedgehog crossing a motorway,
I'm lonely afraid like a carrot in a flower field,
Whyvillians look at me with disgust at my boring face.

My only positions pink fluffy ear muffs and a nose,
No eyes nor mouth,
They talk about hair, this I have none,
When I move a trail of laughter is left where I stood.

Is there any person caring enough in Whyville to notice me?

Somewhere, some place there lies a caring person with the same problem as me with just as wild an imagination as anyone else and just as beautiful as anyone else.
