You released my predispositions
like loose kites in the sky.
Leaving no time for hesitation,
you snowed my cold feet dry.

And I could lie and say I regret
the way my defenses diminished,
but the truth is both of us have let
things be left unsaid and unfinished.

Ever since you snowed my cold feet dry,
my morals are in doubt.
I used to separate wrong from right,
but now solid ground drowns out.

And is it wrong to say I like it,
and the way you found me to unwind?
You are whom I expect,
but the thrill is in this undefined,

Ever since you snowed my cold feet dry,
you snowed my cold feet dry.
After all my mind has been awry,
you snowed my cold feet dry.
