The rose has faded
from your cheeks.
Your eyes no longer
Glimmer,
Oh I long to see
that smile,
But it will never
Shine.

Cold eyes stare at
the ceiling,
Glassy and blinded by
death.
Your hand,
Cold with the loss of life,
Chills me to my soul.

You're no longer here
in this hollow shell.
I wish I could feel your hugs,
I'd love to see your
Smile,
To hear that trilling laughter
would make this pain worthwhile.

I miss you,
Wish you were here.
I smile for the life that
has been,
But sob for what has
ended.
Farewell,
Sweet princess,
Goodbye forever.
Rest in love,
You're in our hearts.
