Hey Whyville, ready for a nice laid back article about everything and nothing?
So, I've just been really stressed lately, and I've decided the world needs to take a chill pill with me! Take for example: My mom the other day was flippin' out because I was starting Driver's Ed and I needed a notebook and stuff, right? So it's like, five minutes before we leave and she decides to yell at ME because SHE forgot to tell me to bring stuff. Beautiful how that logic goes, yes?
I've noticed fall stress, (Forget winter depression. Fall stress is the new fad . . .) so I'm just going to rant, yes?
My birthday is November 7th (feel free to send me virtual gifts! Jk jk.) And I was just thinking, why am I celebrating my birthday? It's not like I did anything special. I'm pretty sure my first day concluded such life-changing activities such as pooping, eating, crying, and keeping my parents up until the wee hours of the morning. Good job little me! But really! I should be congratulating and giving presents to my mom for bearing me and putting up with me for fifteen years, am I right!? I mean, she sat around fat and hungry for nine months while waiting to have me, an ungrateful, spoiled, little, teenage, brat.
Now I'm not saying I don't understand the meaning of a birthday, but it's just silly how I'm having a nice party for just being alive fifteen years. "Congrats on making it this far! In a few years you'll be paying bills and having your own little snot-nosed kid! Let's eat cake!"
So, yeah, I don't hate kids. I actually love kids! And other random facts you may not have known about me . . .
- I can say my ABC's backwards . . . in two seconds. No lie, scout's honor!
- My favorite band is Silversun Pickups! I suggest you look them up.
- My bathroom is painted polka dot!
- I've been writing stories since I was around seven, and drawing avidly since I was around two.
- In my late elementary school years, I was a total anime/mange nerd.
- My biggest number of sent texts in a month was 16,000!
Speaking of texting, at DE (That's an abbreviation for Driver's Ed) last night, we actually watched a video on texting while driving. Some guy who looked like Adam Lambert's identical-less-hot-twin-brother narrated the thing and told us how his friend killed a five-year-old girl by trying to find a song on his iPod. Kind of sad, yeah? Don't text/talk on the phone/switch the radio while you're driving please. The person you hit might be me.
Um and another thing! Hope you had a safe Halloween! Lysol your candy!
