Hey there, and welcome to "Should I See That Movie" with momojo1 and SpOrTyAx! Most of you have probably heard of one of the hottest movies around at the moment, Avatar, Directed by the incredible James Cameron, who also directed Titanic, Terminator, and True Lies, this movie plays in Imax 3D! Did you know it took four years to make this movie? You're probably just dying to know our opinions, because, of course, who's better at that than us?! Hold the applause. Now, before you have the wonderful privilege to hear our fantabulous opinions, for those of you who haven't heard of Avatar, here's a basic summary. (Don't worry! No spoilers here!)

When Jake Sully, a paraplegic member of the military, is sent to a distant world called Pandora in search of a rare mineral that can quickly make them extremely rich, he finds it difficult to fulfill his mission - to bond with the Na'vi people in order to take over their land. All the while, he is in his "Avatar" form, which has an identical appearance to the Na'vi people, AND working, moving legs! Jake's intentions soon change; now, rather than being their enemy as he is supposed to be, he develops a strong relationship with the people, and of course, falls in love with a beautiful alien woman. Whose side will he choose? His fellow humans . . . or those he truly does love?

Pretty intense, huh? Okay, now that you know what it's all about, let's move on to some interviews! What do your fellow citizens think of it? Read and find out!

SpOrTyAx: Did you enjoy Avatar? Why? What rating would you give it, from 1 to 5 stars?

x3Tacos: Yes, I loved it! The creativity was amazing, and they obviously put in a lot of effort to come up with the multiple creatures. I would give it 4 and a half stars, only because of the length. While it was the same length as many of my other favorite movies, I think something could have been shortened. It got monotonous once or twice.
Sarah6089: I enjoyed watching Avatar because when Jake Sully didn't know what to do in the outer world, his curiosity was such a laugh . . . I would rate this movie 5 stars!
Mikey3002: Of course I enjoyed Avatar! It was an all around incredible movie. It was very intriguing, and had a well thought-out plot.

SpOrTyAx: What, in your opinion, was the best part of the movie: the romance or the action? Why?

x3Tacos: Probably the action; I'm not one for lots of intimacy on romance in movies, it bored me. The action was pretty intense in some parts and it was strung together pretty well.
Sarah6089: I loved the romance in this movie. Because when Jake Sully (in Na'vi form) was falling in love with another Na'vi named Neyitri, it was so enjoyable watching what he would do. The way Neyitri taught him her clan's way, was so romantic in ways.
Mikey3002: The action was my favorite part, it was very intense, especially at the end! But, I must say, this is probably the first movie that the romance interested me in the slightest bit. Romance doesn't usually interest me, but this movie sort of helped me to enjoy it!

SpOrTyAx: Is this a movie worth seeing? What ages do you think it would be appropriate for?

x3Tacos: It's definitely worth seeing, see it in 3D if you can, it looks great! There's one part that has just a hint of "suggestive themes" and does get a little . . . off track, but it's not horrible. I'd definitely suggest for someone to be over 11, and if they're that young they'd probably need to be fairly mature.
Sarah6089: It is a movie worth seeing. I would suggest the ages be 16 and up because of the swear words they use.
Mikey3002: It is most definitely worth seeing, no doubt about it! I totally recommend it. I would say probably ages 13 and up would be able to see it, because of the scenes that might be slightly scary for littler kids.

Now let's move to the experts, meaning us: momojo1 and SpOrTyAx! What do we think about it? We know, we know, you're just dying to know! We won't make you suffer any longer, so here goes!

momojo1: This movie was probably the best movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest bit. It was absolutely incredible! It's so hard to describe how good it was, it was just THAT good! I saw it about a week ago, and I still cannot get it out of my head. Just the way it was put together, the plot, everything about it was absolutely amazing. Do I recommend it? 100%. But still, the question is, what ages would it be appropriate for? In my opinion, I think it would be okay for ages 12 and up. Some scenes could possibly become a little too "intense" for younger kids, and there's quite a bit of romance. But of course, that's only my opinion. As long as your parents/guardians say it's alright for you to see it, it's okay with us!

SpOrTyAx: I quitely agree with momojo1. It was a wonderful experience for my family and I. The action was my favorite. Why? Well, go watch it and see for yourself. I have seen it two times and it just keeps getting better and better. I keep begging my parents to see a few more times, although they won't let me . . . *Dramatic sob* . . . Well if I had to rate it from 1 - 100 on a scale, definitely 100. I'm not exaggerating, James Cameron did a great job at directing. I have heard that this movie got over 75 million this weekend. (I was a part of that) So go out to the closest movie theatre and demand it!

Thanks for reading! We hope you decide to go see Avatar for yourselves. This is momojo1 and SpOrTyAx, signing off to go catch some great movies! See ya there.
