I wake up every Sunday morning with a smile on my face. After breakfast, I brush my hair and teeth, and then practice piano. I watch a little bit of TV, do some homework, and go on the computer. Before I realize it, it is nearly three o'clock and I know that it must be time now.
I click on my browser and I type in the web address that I visit most often. My finger taps on the desk impatiently, and I start doodling on a piece of paper with an almost dried out highlighter, thinking of how I like Sunday, but I prefer Saturday.
Finally the screen pops up, and I check everything like I normally would, before clicking on the desired icon.
Just reading those pieces of work, including my own, is what we strive to do. To know that I am sharing what I feel and my ideas and stories with the online community of Whyville is amazing, and I enjoy doing so. Reading in the BBS how well I did, and what I can improve on, getting compliments from my friends, and giving advice to others is what I love to do. It is fun; knowing that you are helping a writer like yourself become better. Even if they don't use it, they were given the advice and you can't say you didn't try.
I just love the Whyville Times.
Always and forever,
