Author's Note: This isn't a super long hiatus, and please read the entire thing if you're a fan of my writing. If you're not, this article isn't for you.
I remember the first time I had an article published in the Whyville Times. It was in September, and I had written a quick little article about my reading device: "The Amazon Kindle." That day, I printed out the article, showed everyone I knew, and even gave it to my English teacher! But now, I seem to be slowly fading away from the Times.
During the summer, you'll catch me on Whyville one day a week. That is not enough for me to follow the Times, check critique in the BBS and gather ideas for an article. So, I'm publicly announcing this to friends, fans and others who enjoy my writing.
I will not be posting articles for a while. Otherwise known as a hiatus.
I appreciate everything you all have done for me. I love writing for the Times and I'll be back. I don't exactly know when, possibly July, or August but when I do return, "Gone in a Flash" will pick up again and more articles will be published.
Don't forget about me! I'll be back. But for now, it's not working out. I love you all very much and I can't wait to meet up later. Thank you very much for the support, and to the amazing Times Editor for publishing, critiquing, etc.
Good luck to any new writers coming into the Times, check out some of my article for ideas and styles. When I return, I'll be happy to read and/or help anyone who needs it.
I'll miss you
Sincerely,
Watermel8
