So it's back to school time once again, everyone's shopping for new clothes and accessories to stand out. Well why should you only stand out with your clothes? Why shouldn't your eyes stand out too? I'm here to show you how you can make your eyes pop, whatever eye color you have!
Blue Eyes
The key to making any eye color pop is to use makeup that is the opposite color from your eyes on the color wheel. Also there's a lot of other colors that compliment the specific color of eyes. For blue eyes, colors that will compliment them are any browns, pinks, and whites.
1 - Use a primer on your eyelid to keep the shadow bright and crease free. Dot on the primer then rub it in with your finger. Wait a few seconds before applying any shadow to give the primer time to set. I'm using: e.l.f eyelid primer.
2 - Trace your eyes with a white pencil liner. Blend it in with your finger or a q-tip. This will help to widen your eyes and make them appear more awake. I'm using: Annabelle KOHL Liner in white.
3 - Take a light cream-colored shadow and cover the lid using an all over eyeshadow brush. I'm using: a shade from Quo Treasure Box.
4 - Take a pink shadow and apply it to the outer corner and crease using a crease brush. I'm using: Quo Baked Shadow
5 - Apply a white shadow below the brow and blend it into the pink. Also use some on the inner corner of the eye. I'm using: Maybelline Hushed Tints (I forgot to put an arrow pointing to which color, but it's the first one on the bottom row)
6 - Take a brown eyeliner pencil and trace the top lid close to the lash line. It might help if you tug the corner of your eye. I'm using: e.l.f shimmer eyeliner pencil.
7 - If you want you can curl your lashes for 10 seconds. After that grab a brown mascara and apply a few coats to both the top and bottom lashes. The brown will compliment the blue of your eyes! I'm using: Lashblast Luxe
8 - Now you can apply concealer and get rid of fallout.
9 - For your eyebrows, just use a clear wet gloss. I'm using: e.l.f wet gloss lash & brow.
And that's it, now your eyes are bright and noticeable!

Author's Note: I'm going to be editing my eye color every article so you can see the effect. For anyone with darker skin, I apologies but you'll have to adjust the shadows to work for your skin tone. I am light/medium skin tone so I don't really have any suggestions, sorry.
