I was sitting down stairs in the 6th novice's Kitchen eating cereal when Katlyn and Mary came down to join me. Katlyn had long, silky blonde hair that went down to her waist and green eyes. She was just a little taller than Marie. Mary was the rebel of The Show. She had to be shortest 6th novice, or first year, and definitely the person that stood out in a crowd. And she was my best friend out of all of my best friends. She was about 4'11" and wore her short, purple hair in a faux hawk. She had beautiful hazel eyes.

"Have you guys gotten your schedules yet?" I asked through a mouthful of cereal.

"Aednat, how many times do I have to tell you it is completely disgusting to talk with your mouth full?" Katlyn asked rolling her eyes. "And no, Damon said he's bringing all of ours."

"Oh, Damon!" Mary sang, teasing me. "Nit's knight in shining armor, or a retard in tin foil!" she giggled. I laughed and smacked her. She skipped over to my other side and stole a bite of cereal. "Mm, that's good!" She grinned and took another bite. I laughed and Katlyn rolled her eyes. She was all about how to do things in a proper way, and an everyone-always-need-to-have-manners person. It got annoying, but I still loved her. I have to say she was the most mature 6th novice ever. Like I said before, Mary was the rebel. And me? I stood for what I believed in and didn't let anyone stand in the way of me getting what I needed or wanted.

"If you like it that much, have it! I'm not that hungry. I'm just gonna have some lemonade."

"You always have lemonade," Katlyn said.

"Yep, it's my favorite!" I grinned. While I was getting it out of the fridge, I heard Mary giggling again. I was turning around to ask her what was so funny when someone grabbed my waist and whispered in my ear, "Mail call." I smiled, turned around and leaned close to Damon's face. I could tell he was expecting a kiss, so I told him thank you, took the letters out of his hand and walked back to the table with my lemonade.

Except I didn't make it to the table. I could feel a Vision coming on. 6th novices aren't supposed to get Visions. You aren't supposed to develop that skill until you are an 8th novice. I guess I was just more advanced.

This Vision gave me a major migraine. I collapsed on the cold, kitchen tile. I could hear Mary freaking out, but it sounded too far away to be real. Then I got sucked in.
