So this week's eye color is green! Now what colors look good on green eyes, you may ask? Well you can use browns, golds, or purples. My personal favorite for green eyes is purple makeup. It just really makes them stand out. So that's the color I'll be working with for green eyes! Enjoy!
Before we go any further I'm going to apologize to you in advance. I'm just getting over the flu so I wasn't able to put my contact lenses in while doing the makeup for this article, so if any of the makeup is uneven or the eyeliner is wobbly, it's cause I was practically putting it on blind.
1 - First step is to put on some eyelid primer. It will keep the shadow long lasting and vibrant. Apply the primer and allow it to sit for a few seconds.
2 - Apply a lilac-colored shadow all over the lid. I'm using: A shade from Quo.
3 - Apply a silver shadow to the outer corner of the eye to add some shine. I'm using: A shade from Quo
4 - Apply a plum shade to the outer corner, creating an edge and also blending it toward the crease. I'm using: Maybelline Hushed Tints
5 - Take a dark purple shadow and put a bit right on the outside corner of the eye and blend it into the crease. I'm using: e.l.f brightening eye color
6 - Line your eyes with a purple pencil liner. The color I'm using is pretty bright so you can use a more toned-down shade if you so desire. I'm using: Shashbox in "Hope"
7 - Apply a black liquid liner to the top lash line, bringing it out into a wing. Tug on the corner of your eye for easy application. I'm using: Almay intense i-color in "Black Pearl"
8 - Apply a few coats of black mascara to both sets of lashes. I'm using: L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black
And voila! That's it!
Next week's eye color: Hazel
