Summer turns to winter
Spring becomes the fall
Time is continuous like a ticking clock
But that ain't all
Tomorrow will quickly come
And change into today
The past will spiral out of reach
Till there's nothing left to say
"Remember when" will take control
As all the good times fall behind
'Cuz each time I close my eyes
The past tense captivates my mind
Summer turns to winter
Spring becomes the fall
Time is continuous like a beating heart
But that ain't all
Tomorrow will quickly come
And suddenly it's today
The past will stealthily speed afar
Till there's nothing left to say
The future steals my mind
And drags me far away
The past will not cease time
It is midnight that closes the day
Summer turns to winter
Spring becomes the fall
Time won't stop like my confusion
But that ain't all
Tomorrow is already here
And yesterday is today
The past will instantly engulf
Till there's nothing left to say
