If you regularly visit Whyville, I?m sure you have your favorite chat room. There are many popular ones out there that have their own groups of people. I thought it would be interesting to learn more about these groups, so I decided to interview a few people from Sun roof, Beach South, and the Mall to see how they feel about their favorite chat room and why they like it.
I asked these questions:
Kittieme: Do you chat at your favorite chat room often?

NvRglvEiN: Yes.
Shrkbt08: Yes the mall is the only place I will be seen on Whyville, except for Style Studio.
KandyCan2: Yes, most of my friends are always at the Mall chatting, so I do go there often.
Fauzy9: Yes I chat in the Mall a lot.

Paperswag: Yes, every day.
AlyssaMia: Yep. Every time I'm online.
Stylebbe1: I at the Sun Roof every time I'm online.

Tacodaddy: Yes, I actually do, I can be found there most of the time. I like the crowd.
Sweet1860: Yes, I'm mostly at Beach South or Sun Roof.
Ispyjenny: Yes,I love Beach South.
Kittieme: What about your favorite chat room is different than other rooms?

NvRglvEiN: It has most of my friends.
Shrkbt08: All my friends hang out at the Mall, that's mostly why I'm on Whyville.
KandyCan2: I'm not sure. I don't really pay attention to the differences in the different chat rooms.
Fauzy9: Well the Mall is different because most of my friends hang out there.

Paperswag: It is bright and shiny, and all my peeps chill there.
AlyssaMia: Most of my friends chat there.
Stylebbe1: I think it is the people and the similarities we all seem to have.

Tacodaddy: It's just a bigger place. A lot of people meet their friends there. And there's also mostly a lot of new people, so for the Newbie-lovers, it's a great place.
Sweet1860: Beach South rocks! Everything about it is different than other chat rooms! I like hanging out there with my friends.
Ispyjenny: What is different with South from other chat rooms is 99% of your friends are there.
Kittieme: What do you like more about your favorite chat room than any other place?

NvRglvEiN: I know everyone, and I have fun talking to my friends there.
Shrkbt08: A lot of my friends hang out there.
KandyCan2: I love the Mall because usually all of my friends are there talking and right when I walk in I find someone to talk to. My friends and I have a lot of memories there.
Fauzy9: I like the Mall more because my friends are always there to keep me going when I'm down and people at North and South just ignore me.

AlyssaMia: Less "new" people are there.
Stylebbe1: Once again, the people . . . you could enter the room and everyone is so happy to see you there!

Tacodaddy: I can always find all of my friends there, it's convenient. Plus, I can use my scion, play boot, and rarely hold BC's (Beauty Contests) and whatever I want.
Sweet1860: Well actually I like almost everything about Beach South. The people, the scene, the crowd, etc.
spyjenny: I like about Beach South more than other chat rooms because there is always new news about like, he goes out with her, or she and
him broke up . . . all sorts of drama.
Kittieme: Describe "mallers", "southies", "roofers" (whichever pertained to their chat room) in three words.

Stylebbe1: Very amazing looks! Or, if I'm being truthful . . . bit of drama.

Sweet1860: If "southies" are Whyvillians at Beach South . . . I would say "I love them!" Three words aren't enough!

Kittieme: Do you have any last words on why someone would want to hang out at your favorite chat room?

NvRglvEiN: If you want to meet some new people, the Mall is the place.
Shrkbt08: Everyone that hangs out in the Mall is really nice and is very fun to hang out with and to get to know.
KandyCan2: I think that anybody new to Whyville and even people who are not new should hang out at the Mall because you can meet a lot of great people there and you can make a lot of friends there that you will learn to love.
Fauzy9: Well a lot of people would want to hang out at the Mall because my friends are really nice

AlyssaMia: I chat there. Yup.
Stylebbe1: A lot of people have the same interests if you like designing or rares, you will fit in perfectly. Roof is where all my friends are, people think it must be more harsh about "Newbies" because most of the group are "Oldbies" but in all honesty, most people are calm and understanding. A lot of the Whyvillians in the chat room are designers and rare collectors. If someone is not talking to you, it's probably not to be mean, it's because we are all multitasking and enjoying other bits and pieces of Whyille and the web.

Sweet1860: Beach South is one of the best places in Whyville. There are other chat rooms too like the Sun Roof or Woods where people chat but you can never be left alone here on Beach because there will be at least one person who will come and say "Hi!" to you! So I suggest Whyvillians should hang out at Beach South!
Ispyjenny: Someone go to the South because there are people that are very nice to everybody no matter what race and there are non-Newb haters. They are people that help Newbies a lot.
