Giggler on the Ghost

Hey there! It's Giggler01 and I just finished reading the article by Bettyjoe. I've had the same problem with this "Ghost". I had it for a really long time, and then I figured out how to fix it; I don't think that it is as uncommon as you think!

Problem #1: You're picking your nose and some of the face parts will not load.

Solution: I solved my problem by getting rid of all of the clothes I don't wear anymore. Then all my clothes loaded. When I get this problem, I just go to Grandma's and donate some clothes because that solves it. I also help out a lot of newbies by doing this and it's a lot easier to find what I am looking for when I get changed.

This is (probably) because all the clothes that I have are like an overload on my computer. Getting rid of the things I don't need helps the computer by clearing out space. It doesn't have to look for so many images anymore and therefore it's a lot easier on the computer.

Problem #2: Whyville Square won't load correctly. You see a lot of the same buildings, not necessarily in the same place, and if you run over a speech bubble it will stay up and not disappear.

Solution: Try to close down your internet. If it is not responding and it won't close, try pressing Ctrl, Alt and Delete at the same time. A small window should pop up. Select Internet Explorer and then press End Task. Wait a short period of time, and then see if the problem has been fixed. If it has not, restart your computer.

I hope this helps people. The truth is that even though Whyville is really great, it's also really hard on your computer, because of the java applets. I know it won't work on some people's computers at all.

So even though there wasn't really a ghost, it would be really cool if there was one in Whyville! It could take a small amount of clams or an article of clothes from people and give them to Grandma or another person. That would solve a lot of clam begging, wouldn't you think?

Well, that's it for now. I'm out; this is Giggler01 failing to babysit my sister without making her cry.
