Hi! This is Macey117! I interviewed a few Whyville citizens to see what their favorite music genres were and why they liked them. Here are the responses.
Macey117: What is your favorite music genre?
ChaCha2u: My favorite genre is jazz.
Leexxiiee: My favorite genre of music is hip hop or pop.
Djangel1: My favorite music genre would have to be rock.
Macey117: Why do you prefer this genre?
ChaCha2u: It calms me down and makes me sleep.
Leexxiiee: I prefer this genre generally because it's actually quite relaxing and music relieves you from stress.
Djangel1: Well music in general helps to relieve me from stress.
Macey117: Who is your favorite band?
ChaCha2u: My favorite band is Kings of Leon.
Leexxiiee: My favorite band would be the Black Eyed Peas.
Djangel1: My all time favorite band is Cage The Elephant.
Macey117: What is your favorite song from this band?
ChaCha2u: "Seventeen"
Leexxiiee: My favorite song from this band would be "Where Is the Love?".
Djangel1: "Shake Me Down"
Macey117: Who is your favorite singer?
ChaCha2u: Justin Bieber
Leexxiiee: My favorite singer is Alicia Keys.
Djangel1: My favorite singer is Led Zeppelin.
Macey117: What is your favorite song by this singer?
ChaCha2u: "Runaway Love"
Leexxiiee: My favorite song is "Empire State of Mind".
Djangel1: My favorite Led Zeppelin song is "Heartbreaker".
Macey117: Why do you like this song?
ChaCha2u: Haha. Well it sounds like something I would listen to a lot.
Leexxiiee: The reason in particular that I love this song is because it's a sad and emotional song that inspires you to follow your dreams and save the world.
Djangel1: I like this song because every time I listen to it, it reminds me I'm not the only person that gets their heart broken.
Macey117: What is your least favorite genre of music?
ChaCha2u: Metal or country.
Leexxiiee: My least favorite genre is musical.
Djangel1: My least favorite genre would have to be screamo.
Macey117: Why is this genre your least favorite?
ChaCha2u: Metal is okay, but I dislike the screaming and country isn't just my type.
Leexxiiee: It's my least favorite because it isn't entertaining, unless maybe if you are old fashioned. I am not criticizing this type of genre though.
Djangel1: Mainly because I get headaches after listening to screamo music.
