The words won't come,
I don't know what to do.
It's easy for some,
But hard for me.

When I look at you,
I get really nervous.

It's like a total eclipse of my heart,
I'm trying to show you how I feel.
I've felt this from the start,
Is that so wrong?

I just want to hold your hand,
And feel no shame.
Run through the sand,
Like we did when we were young.

I hope you might see this,
But you probably won't.
If we have our first kiss,
I'll think back to writing this.
