Hello, this is RoxyStars speaking! I have one question:
"How can you be so cruel to the world around you?"
I have been sent a letter/scam saying this:
hi this is ycouncil and u are in lots of trouble there is a group of 5 guys
going around and hacking into peoples passwords and accounts and taking
every thing. im with the y staff of whyville im here to help, over 10
thousand peoples accounts have been haked into in the last 2 and a half
weeks so please i need ur passwrd so i can help please
p.s if u dont give me ur password then i will baned u from whyville my self
im not lieing this is a very serious matter in whyville
It says it is from the ycouncil. Now, why would there be somebody called
ycouncil when there is already a City Hall? And why isn't ycouncil wearing a City Worker hat, hmm??? Use your common sense, everbody, this is a scam.
This is also an important matter because they threaten to banish you.
As of now I am going to try to take this matter in my own hands and try to
seek out victims of this person and help them!
So scammers, if you think you have the guts to try to scam me, think again.
I am not about to let my account to fall in your hands!

Editor's Note: Thanks for your report, RoxyStars! Normally we don't publish the name of the citizen involved, but when someone's claiming to be a part of City Management (the staff of Whyville), we feel it's important to let folks know it's not true!
Remember everybody, true City Workers wear the red beanie with the yellow CW on it! Look up City Hall, Bigfoot, mark, jen, origami, Turnip, and superid to see what the hat looks like.
Folks who masquerade as a City Worker will be banished, as ycouncil has been.
