No Need to Panic -- WhyBug

Sonner
Guest Writer

Hi this is Sonner again, this time with a rumour that SuPaGuRlE has asked me about to see if it's true.

Okay, first off, she asked if there is such thing as a Why Bug -- not the Why Pox, but the Why Bug. She said that she got it right after she had received her medal from City Hall. I'm not quite sure what it is. Maybe it will appear in the Times next week or something like that.

I'm not sure what it looks like, but it might be a rumour or fact. Maybe City Hall is planning another disease to make Whyville even more like a city. I think that maybe the Why Bug could be a contagious allergy for the spring, just like people in real life, because I am known to get allergies in spring and summer from tree buds. So I there could be a 50-50 chance, yes-no, that this thing exists. Just remember right now it's a rumour and it may be true or not.

So, if it is true, I think it will be kind of related to the Why Pox like being contagious or having something on your face. I think we should just all be on alert for a while and if nothing happens please don't get mad at me for being wrong. This is a just a complete rumour, if it isn't true.

If City Hall has any comments about this article, she should feel very free to comment.

Thanks again!

Note from City Hall: Thanks for your report, Sonner! As of the publication of the paper this week, there is and has been no cases of a "WhyBug" reported to the CDC. We at City Hall had not heard of such a thing until the Times Editor showed us your letter!

This is not to say there will not be any more diseases to hit Whyville -- we can't guarantee that! But rest assured, you'll hear about it in the Times and at the CDC soon after anything breaks out!!
