How could we ever grow
In a world all our own
We find ourselves still
Unable to proceed

Your heartbeat,
It's all that I can hear
Look at us now
Frozen in place

The fear of moving on
Is too much a burden
The possibility of regret
Is something we cannot bear

As the sun begins to rise
We all unfold
Vulnerable to the new sensations
Alone, in this growing world
Your heartbeat is all that I can hear.
