Well, Whyvillians, last Tuesday was the first Tuesday of the month, and you all know what that means! Last week we had our monthly Meet the Makers, where a couple of City Workers come to Club Why to mingle with citizens. It always is a fun, exciting time of the month.
People always come to Club Why early, so that they are sure not to miss the MTM. Look at how many people were there 10 minutes before.
Everyone is always excited for their favorite City Workers to come. I decided to ask everyone which City Worker they wanted to see. They all had different answers.
A lot of people wanted Lopan or City Hall. As everyone was arguing for their favorite, City Hall appeared.
Everyone was so excited. City Hall began by saying hello, and talked about a new website Whyville's parent company, Numedeon, is working on. (It will be geared more towards adults . . . City Hall said that Whyville citizens will not be encouraged to go on it.) After talking about that, she began taking questions. Someone asked, "City Hall, is it very difficult to make the room shake like we do for holidays?" City Hall responded by doing this:
The whole room shook. She did it over a few times, and it was pretty fun. Sadly, I (and City Hall) could only stay a little longer.
Hopefully you have all gotten a good idea as to what goes on at a Meet the Makers.
Excited for the next MTM,
