Grandma's Most Wanted

Guest Writer

Hi, I'm BK4U. You might remember me from some other articles that I did with my sister, SamGirl21, and her friends. This is my first independent article.

I'm sort of a newbie. Well, not really a newbie, but I don't consider myself a richer Whyvillian. I don't mind having a lower salary, and my house is quite small, but that's all okay. And no, I can't usually afford the items at Akbar's Face Parts. I usually go to the Trading Post. That's a really cool place to get discounted gear, and most people don't check it out. Why is that? Oh, well, this article isn't about encouraging you to go to the Trading Post, although that would be a slamming article. No, this is about donating to Grandma.

I just got my plot. I was so, so excited when I did! I couldn't wait to have my friends live with me, to design my room... this was all so great, because I want to be an interior decorator when I get older.

My sister told me that the Furniture Farm had all the stuff I needed. I went, and saw huge prices. 150... 200... 300 clams? For a tree? I was astonished.

I asked my sister what I should do. She said that I could check out Grandma's. I hoped that she would be of some help.

I went there, only to find a huge crowd of newbies complaining because there were no more face parts. I felt really bad for them. I was still hoping there was some furniture or bricks.

I went, and of course didn't get anything. Now, I had a plot, but nothing to put on it. Now here comes the mini-lecture from me. Are you ready?

I know that a lot of you have tons of extra clams and furniture that you will never use. I know that as a fact! Tons of you want to become the richest person in Whyville, so you save and save and save just trying to become the richest. In my opinion, that is a waste of clams. Those clams could be going to helpless newbies, your fellow citizens.

So please, please donate whatever extra stuff you have to Grandma's. Everyone please do! Many of you forget what it's like to be a newbie.

I hope you all learned a lesson from this! I'm gonna write again, so this won't be the last you've heard of me. I can promise you that.
