How do you explain to everyone
That you just can't hold on?
Why can't it last forever
And never shall it sever?

I don't know how to say this,
But I think it's almost time.
I'm growing up fast,
And this could be my last rhyme.

It hurts more than anything,
To give this up.
But I have to do what's best,
Life is putting me to the test.

How do I know when to say goodbye?
How will I know it's time?
How can I turn my back and leave forever,
When I haven't completed my climb?

I feel a tear run down my cheek
Because I don't want this to end.
