Typos

Giggler01
Whyville Poet
When I sit down each day,
With something to express,
And something to say,
I run into a few problems.

My fingers begin to hit the keys,
And the wrong thing I do say,
With Qs instead of Ps,
And oh no, what a mess!

That's not it!
It's a not a baby,
And yes the dress really did fit,
Oh, what am I to do?

No! Please don't tell her that!
She's really cool,
And I didn't mean she was fat!
Oh this could take a while.

And no, I didn't mean you,
Did you know that,
There are actually quite a few,
Just like that?

Oh no. Here they come,
Please don't read this,
Not even some,
It's not what I meant!

That isn't what I meant,
But too late!
The message was already sent,
And now I've got one big problem.

I didn't mean it,
I promise,
You aren't really a git,
You're really cool.

Not another fight,
Over tiny little mistakes,
And who's wrong and right,
Because I want to know you forever.

This is a poem about typos. It was inspired by a conversation with one of my friends about why they should get a Why-Pass. I told her it would keep her off the street and out of drugs, and she said, "I've already done drugs." She meant to say she had never done drugs, and I knew that! Typos can really be a pain, but they happen to every one. So that's the story behind this. TTYL.
