Feel that brisk autumn air, see the different faces of the jack-o-lanterns and the colorful costumes of kids trick-or-treating, smell the sweet scents of candy and caramel apples all around you - Halloween is here once again! Halloween is by far one of my favorite holidays, there's so much fun to be had! I, myself, have been busy picking the perfect costume, hanging up some gruesome and eerie decorations, and carving away at my fair share of plump, orange pumpkins. With October 31st coming quickly around the corner, I decided to see what you guys are doing to get ready for this spooky holiday!
xoxkitkat: So, how do you plan on celebrating Halloween this year?
sqeakers1: I plan on going out and hanging with some friends, and going to the Fright Dome!
cohenlm: I plan on either staying home, watching some of my favorite movies and occasionally getting off my butt to answer the door for the few kids that actually enjoy walking up-hill to my house. If not, I may trick-or-treat for a little bit with friends.
RunFor3st: Haunted hayrides, volunteering with my friends in haunted woods, and trick or treating.
lilpcdoll: By passing out candy to kids!
cooloff12: By eating candy!
xoxkitkat: Are you doing anything to celebrate Halloween on Whyville?
sqeakers1: I'll probably dress up, and if I have time, go to the party.
cohenlm: Probably just going to the POC Halloween Party and perhaps dressing up my avatar.
RunFor3st: Probably not . . . I might go to the Halloween party, but I doubt it.
lilpcdoll: In fact I am! (maybe) Me and Mira are suppose to be having a 3m BC on Halloween weekend, but we've been kind of busy and haven't made any costume parts.
cooloff12: Psh nahhh. I never make it to events, sadly. But I would like to go to the POC's party.
xoxkitkat: What are you dressing up as for Halloween this year, in both real life and Whyville?
sqeakers1: On Whyville, I don't know. I'm kind of thinking I want to keep my lion look. (Because no one suspects the lion . . .) In real life, I'm going to wear a knit hat that looks like an owl.
cohenlm: I'm undecided.
RunFor3st: On Whyville I am a pirate to celebrate Pirates of the Caribbean coming out on DVD (OCTOBER 18th!!!) but in real life I'm not sure. One friend wants me to be the pig from angry birds and another wants me to be a fat ballerina.
lilpcdoll: I don't dress up for Halloween anymore, I usually do my brothers costume because I'm kind of good at special effects make up. On Whyville though, I'll probably dress up as Lady Gaga. haha.
cooloff12: Jake of course!
xoxkitkat: Are you going trick-or-treating this year?
sqeakers1: I don't know if I'm going trick-or-treating. I somehow managed to be put on 'Decide what we're doing for Halloween this year' committee amongst my friends, but I've been too lazy to decide.
cohenlm: I may be going trick-or-treating.
RunFor3st: Yes. I am a victim of peer pressure.
lilpcdoll: I can't, I'm too old in my state. You have to be 16 or below, and I'm 18. If I do go and get caught, I'll be fined. Lo:
cooloff12: Probably not. If so, it will be with a bunch of friends or my little sister,
xoxkitkat: In your opinion, how old is too old to go trick-or-treating?
sqeakers1: Trick or treating is creepy when you do it at age 25 or older.
cohenlm: Honestly, I don't think there is such an age of "too old." I see parents trick-or-treating with their children all the time, or if you're skilled like my momma she just steals all my Reese's when I get home.
RunFor3st: Probably 12-13.
lilpcdoll: Trick-or-Treating is fun for anyone, but since the law in my state says you can't be over 16, then I guess it's 16. LoL.
cooloff12: You are never too old to go trick-or-treating, but I stopped at 14.
xoxkitkat: And finally, what's your favorite kind of candy?
sqeakers1: My favorite kind of candy . . . Either Kit Kats or Reese's Cups.
cohenlm: I absolutely love caramel. So, my favorites are Milky Ways, Crunch bars with caramel, and Twix.
RunFor3st: Dum Dums of course!
lilpcdoll: OMG, I love Butterfingers and Skittles. I will eat all of my brothers if he gets them.
cooloff12: SweeTarts. Love 'em.
Well, there you have it! The Halloween spirit truly is prevalent in our Whyville citizens. Thanks to sqeakers1, cohenlm, RunFor3st, cooloff12, and lilpcdoll for their answers!
Have a safe and happy Halloween everyone!
