Hey guys, back again! I have a sweet tooth and I really love to bake. I thought overnight that I might share some of the most delicious treats you could bake with follow along with pictures and instructions. The recipes are easy to make and you use inexpensive food items.

These are baking recipes that are fun to share with family and friends. I've made these cookies over ten times and have never failed; they're so easy to make. So this week I'll help you make crunchy chocolate chip cookies that have a crispy-chewy center!

Ingredients:

75g butter
Half a cup of brown sugar
Half a cup of white sugar
1 large egg
Half a cup of chocolate chips
Half tsp baking soda
1 cup standard flour

Step 1

Preheat the oven rack just below the middle. Turn the heart onto heat at 180c (350f)

Step 2

Using the marks on the pack, cut off a 75g slice of butter. Cut the slice of butter in squares of four.

Step 3

Microwave the butter in a bowl for 1 minute or melt in pot until it's just liquid.

Step 4

Firmly press brown sugar down into measuring cup.

Step 5

Stir both sugar and egg into the butter and beat well with a fork or spoon.

Then sprinkle the chocolate chips into the bowl. Don't eat them!

Step 7

Sift in the baking soda and flour, then mix everything together well.

Step 8

Cover an oven tray with baking paper so the cookies won't stick.

Step 9

Using 2 spoons, put half of the mixture in 12 piles. Leave room for spreading.

Step 10

Bake the cookie for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown, then cook the rest.

Step 11

While warm, lift onto rack. When cold, put in airtight jars or put them in small bags to give to friends.

You should really try them, they're the best cookies ever. They're chewy in the center and have a mouth-watering smell. If you're under the age of 10 get a parent or guardian to help you bake (some things might be very hot for you to handle). Enjoy the delicious cookies and next week I'll be showing you how to bake banana and chocolate chip muffins!

Keep looking when you're cooking!
