Problems w/ a Why-President

Hey, Hotness01 here.

I have a few things to say about the freedom article that Lilbeaut wrote. Yes, I myself think it is a novel idea, but please, think about what I have to say.

She presented an idea about voting for a Whyville president, and described how that could benefit many things. But there is a giant problem with this: Can't you just see that this would turn into a popularity contest?! I'm not all that popular on Whyville myself, so I know how it feels to be ignored in place of a more popular person. The people that have truly great ideas on how to improve Whyville will be totally ignored to the popular or "hot" people who want to turn Whyville into a fashion show! (Sure, it's not true in all cases, but I'm speaking in general).

This will be totally unfair to newbies and the rest of Whyville! I do think that things should be changed, but I think that City Hall is a much better president for our town. They know what they are doing over there; Whyville is a place for learning, not making ditzy competitions. I mean, is this what you really want to see?! Please think about this before you vote, citizens!

I meant not to offend anyone, but stand by my decision,

Hotness01
