Freedom or Not

To LilBeaut, BlackBox, and Giggler01, and the others like you... you take Whyville far too seriously.
Now, I love Whyville, and yes, I practically live in Whyville. But, come on, freedom in Whyville is honestly not THAT important.
And I have another comment: without censorship of SOME kind, my parents probably wouldn't allow me even to come on Whyville. One day when I was complaining to my sister that I had been taped, my mom overheard and she was all, "That website must be of some good if they care if you curse or not!" So, thanks to the censorship, I can be on Whyville to this very day.
Now I shall flip to the other side. Come on, I can't even say "assignment" in chat. Now, that's taking censorship a bit too far. Yeah, it's good to watch what you say and all, but really. Since when is assignment a swear word?
No offense to any of the great, and obviously intelligent, people above. Your articles rocked and I loved seeing your points of view. But seriously? You guys are way too serious about the entire "issues of Whyville" thing. I don't read the Times to debate, I read it for pleasure. So cut out the whole debating things, and there you have it: a great issue of the Times. Not that I don't love the Times or anything. No sarcasm there.
Sorry if my article was a whole jumbled thing of issues. But as Bigfoot Bill would say, I gotta let the cat out of the bag.
