Retracting in our home-bound spheres
You live in one, and I in here
Back upon last year's November
I recall us laughing, talking and now it's December

One year passed and to no avail
I've grown and have left not one single trail
You have seemed to forgotten all the times
We've laughed and talked, but that's just fine

I understand how we're so far apart
Our spheres just didn't connect from the start
Yours, so much more superior
And mine so small and fearful and miniature

I miss you a lot, that much I'll admit
And so I'm obliged to write this from where I sit

Simply put, I miss you
Difficultly put, I love you
