As I sleep, the world keeps going
And those awake are left behind.
I promise memories, for my mind is growing
And all that's left is left a lie.
I do not question my authority
Because I live as one,
But I don't want them recording me
See, what if I mess up?
I'll laugh at you, you'll laugh at me
And in the end, you'll win.
I'll sink in my humility
And hope no one comments.
but, when I sleep, you will not live
You will not mean to me.
And I will weep, for that is when
I'll have familiarity.
