I love magic tricks! When I was little, my friend and I took a magic class at our local Community Center. Even to this day, I can remember one easy trick that can fool just about anyone!
Materials Needed
- At least three different colored crayons.
- Medium length nails.
- At least one friend/ family member.
Steps
1) First, tell your friend that you want to show them a magic trick. Find an area with no mirrors or anything that can hold a reflection.
2) Take out at least three different colored crayons.
3) Tell your friend that you can magically guess crayon colors and ask them to pick a crayon while you turn around and avert your eyes.
4) Tell them to place their chosen crayon in your hand while you are still turned around and to hide the remaining crayons.
5) Turn back around and face them with the crayon in your hands and your hands behind your back.
6) While you pretend to think hard on the subject of the crayon, take your thumb and at the tip of the crayon rub off some of the colored wax.
7) Take out the hand with the rubbed off crayon in the nail and move it in front of you like a psychic while quickly looking at the crayon color.
8) Put your hand behind your back again and tell your friend their crayon color.
9) Watch them be amazed!
