This just in from City Hall: we seem to have an alien right here in Whyville!

We are landing. Pretty soon we will populate Whyville. My kind will come. You see them everyday flying their ship over Whyville. One day they will land and rescue me. Bring me back to my home planet.

He/she/it even left a self-portrait. The image got scrambled in the transmission, but City Hall has decoded it, and this is what we got:

Is this a friendly alien? Or are they going to attack Whyville? Do we need to worry? What should we do in case of an alien attack?

And what on earth (I should probably say, in the universe,) does "jgs" stand for???
