Marianas Trench, measuring 2550 km long, 69 km wide, and a maximum known depth of 11.03 km, is the deepest part of the ocean. Not only that, but Marianas Trench is also a Canadian artist you have to hear!
Formed in 2001, this pop punk band has some of the best vocals I have ever heard. Coming from lead singer Josh Ramsay, with Matt Webb on lead guitar, Mike Ayley on bass, and Ian Casselman on drums. Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Marianas Trench is yet another band to make my province proud.

Signed with "604 Records", Marianas Trench have released a total of four albums. Their first album self-titled "Marianas Trench" was released in 2002. Following that came Fix Me (2006), Masterpiece
Theatre (2009), and their newest album Ever After (2011).
Throughout the years, Marianas Trench has been nominated for various Juno, MuchMusic, and INDIES awards. So far they've won 10 awards, but I'm sure there will be more to come.
Since coming out with their new album Ever After, Marianas Trench has just finished off their Canadian tour, and will be kicking off their American tour on April 6, 2012 in New York, NY. In my opinion, this is their best album yet, they've certainly matured since their self-titled album in 2002. One must-listen song on their new album is "No Place Like Home". The song is a little slow to start out, but once you get into it, it is pure genius. This one song sums up the entire album, so I highly recommend you give it a listen.
Marianas Trench is one of my favorite bands, so I hope you'll give them a chance and listen to a song or two.
