Lately people on the BBS, aka the forum, have been asking this question: Is the roleplay section dying? Today I came to answer that question, and my answer is yes. I think it's because of a couple reasons.
1. Active roleplayers are beginning to quit Whyville.
2. There are only a few good, active roleplays, so less people are interested.
3. We don't have enough people roleplaying； it's mostly the same people.
Can this section be saved? Possibly. If you're reading this and you have never tried roleplaying, why not try it today? If you can't find one to join, ask someone to start one for you or you can always make your own. It can be as normal as a camping trip or as complicated as a made up mystical world. Roleplaying is fun and easy, and people are usually friendly about it. Lend a hand and join a roleplay today!
Or, if you would rather make one, think of a good topic and type it up. Keep in mind that you will have to write your point of views too, and you'll need to make character forms. Otherwise, your new roleplay can be the most popular on the BBS if you create a good plot and storyline.
