Help With Face Part Making

Heyla all future Whyville face part makers! This article is for those Whyvillians who might want some help on making face parts to make more clams. I'll write down some steps and I hope they help. But if you want more help or ideas you can always y-mail me.

1) Make a lot of clams! At least over 200. It does cost clams to make things.

2) First, figure out what you WANT to make! Is it a shirt or lips or nose or hair or what?

3) You don't necessarily HAVE to do this, but I do because it helps me I think. Make some plans. Draw it out on a piece of paper. I'm not a really good artist but it still helps me and these pictures actually look half good!

4) Decide what color(s) you want your object to be. It's easier to know beforehand.

5) Go to Face Factory on your bus and when you get there, click create products.

6) Pick the box depending on how big your object is going to be. Example: smallest are for noses or other very small things. Next is for parts a little bigger, like lips. The third box is for is for huge things like hair or something that would cover someone's whole body or face.

7) Make your object. Start on the smaller boxes because it isn't so expensive and it's easier. Then once you get good at those, move up. Make sure that if you drew designs beforehand to have them handy. Also, when making your object, enlarge it so it is easier to make distinct markings and just to see it up close! LoL.

8) Name your item and price it. The price can only be as high as your salary, so have a salary with at least 10 clams or more. Name it in a way that it is easy to look up. If you make a blue shirt, make the name something easy like "blue shirt" by whatever your Whyville screenname is.

9) Also if you have to log off before you are done, don't worry. Within the next few days Akbar will refund your money. So don't fret! Also, Akbar won't always accept your things. But he will also refund all of your clams for that, too. And when and if it is accepted, sometimes it takes a long time. Weeks even.

10) If you happen to get something accepted, buy one for yourself and wear it places so that people can see it. Sometimes people will ask where you got it and you can tell them the name. Also, go to the Ad Agency on your bus and write a short little thing telling people to go buy whatever you called your part.

11) Get your parts put into a store; your own or a friend's, it doesn't matter. To put it into a store, go to the Face Factory on your bus and click "Restock or move face parts". There you will see your face parts and after the picture of each one there is a bar -- click the down arrow to pick where you want to put it. There you can also restock your parts. It costs a few clams each and you just change the 0 to whatever number you want.

Next time I'll tell you how to make a store!

Hope this helped you with any questions, but remember, if you have more, just y-mail me!

Byes,
Zoey100
