Welcome back to "Easter Eggs"! This week we are going to be focusing in on eggs found in the movie "Monsters Inc". "Monsters Inc" came out in 2001 and was the fourth Pixar movie produced. During the movie there were many hidden objects from past Pixar movies, but one thing people may not know is that all throughout the movie they hid clown-fish, which many believe was a hint towards one of their next movies.
The first time a clown-fish was shown was when Sulley, Mike, and Celia attend dinner at a seafood restaurant. A clown-fish is found on the wall behind one of the chefs.
An egg that referenced "Toy Story" was seen a little bit before when Randall is using camouflage to match various backgrounds. One of the backgrounds is the wall paper from Andy's room.
The clown-fish makes a second appearance in the movie when Mike opens a door and ushers Randall to enter.
A Jessie doll from "Toy Story 2" is found in Boo's room later on in the movie. Some people believe that Boo's real name may actually be Emily, and that she is the previous owner Jessie reminisces about to Woody.
The last time a clown-fish is scene in "Monsters Inc" is when Sulley scoops up a handful of toys, and a Nemo doll is visible in the pile.
The last Egg featured in this movie was shown during the end credits. While the "bloopers" are rolling, Rex from Toy Story is shown next to Sulley and Mike.
