Born on October 17th, 1972, in St. Joseph Missouri, he is currently 39 years old. This man is identified as Marshall Bruce Mathers, III, also known as his stage name, Eminem, displayed as EMINEM. He is widely known to be immature, strong, and successful.
Eminem's acts of extreme levels of immaturity are quite often displayed on many of his tracks. For example, in his track titled "My Name Is", he talks about his teacher, and clearly states he " . . . smacked him in his face with an eraser, chased him with a stapler . . ." In another song of his, "Just Lose It", he says, "Excuse me miss, I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but I'm feelin' just a little stressed out from work. Could you punch me in the stomach and pull my hair, sit on me, maybe gouge my eyes out?"
Although he displays extreme levels of immaturity, he is also a very strong person. In his lifetime, Eminem has shown he is strong enough to overcome many obstacles in his life. One of the obstacles he had to overcome was growing up without a father. His father abandoned his family when Eminem was only a newborn. A second obstacle to overcome was the suicide death of his beloved uncle Ronnie, who inspired him to start rapping in the first place. Moving from place to place, and never settling in one place for a long period of time was a third obstacle. A fourth obstacle was dealing with his abusive and uncaring mother. In his song "Cleanin' Out My Closet", to his mother, he says "Remember when Ronnie died and you said you wished it was me? Well guess what! I am dead, dead to you as can be!"
After marrying Kim Mathers, a lot of trouble had started to begin in his life, which was his fifth obstacle, and very hard to overcome, because many thrilling arguments and differences were established between the couple. In his song "Kim", he states, "You did this to us, you did it, it's your fault". His struggle to obtain custody of his daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, was taken to extreme levels of struggle, because he loves his daughter very much. In his song "Hailie's Song", he states that, "My baby girl keeps getting older, I watch her grow up with pride". He even stayed strong when his song "Guilty Conscience", received reviews that weren't positive, which was displayed in his song "The Way I Am", when he stated that, "That song Guilty Conscience has gotten such rotten responses!" His ability to stay strong made him able to express his feelings into his songs, which led to his success as a creative rap artist.
