The people at Whyville are asking us to send in our entries about "why do we love Whyville?" I don't know about the thousands of other players; they probably enjoy Whyville for its fun way of teaching and enjoyable chat.

When I log onto Whyville I remember why I love it. Being a kind of social reject is hard, but in Whyville I have friends that are always there to comfort me. They have time to hang out with me and its staff even has time to teach kids and kids like me to learn math, science, and even some social studies.

I like Whyville because, even if I don't look cool or feel cool some days, there are people who make me look cool and feel cool at Whyville. I think that since I've started playing Whyville I've really gained an understanding of how great people can be and how a community should function. I've learned how to be like everyone else and just how to have fun.

I want to win this contest because my parents don't have a credit card or enough extra money to spend on things like Whyville. I don't have a Why-Pass and so I'm inactive in Whyville a lot because of it.

Whyville is fun because, no matter what, on Whyville I'll always have a friend or someone else who will help and comfort me. Whyville is like the perfect family that I wish I had.
