I constantly tread through that full hallway
Acknowledging the various greetings from the bunch
I try to escape these filled arches, feet underway
And yet, the clueless crowd has yet to gain a hunch
While she may familiarize with the conglomeration,
She would prefer much to spend her time in isolated
Choosing instead to trudge in her own direction
So used to the conditional friendship, her thoughts now alienated
Companions and loneliness such a paradox
One that she fulfills without a second thought
She is entrapped by a wall of brick, a match for no rocks
Any attempts she received for true friendship, flawed
Why would you possibly seek out so many uncaring folk?
When a boat by yourself can just as easily stay afloat
