Popularity Contest: Thumbs Down

Why, hello there, Whyvillians! LoL, Bracelet here with another heartfelt article. I don't know about you, but I am totally psyched for the prom coming up! But there is a catch here; for me anyway! I know this is only my opinion, but I chose to express it every way I can, from refusing to vote for people or just announcing that, THE KING AND QUEEN THING IS A HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE POPULARITY CONTEST!

I know many of you may not agree, but in my eyes this king & queen thing shouldn't be around. Yes, it is sort of a tradition and yes, I may have an overactive imagination, but if I was in charge here there'd be no voting on this sort of thing. Believe it or not, but it does put people down. I for one was seriously upset when I lost at Halloween. Think of it this way, there are all these poor why-souls pouring their hearts out, begging for votes! But when it comes to the final night and they don't win, what a let down!! Also, it may make individuals feel inferior because of their own friends refusing to vote for them because they want to win too.

It shouldn't be like this folks, from contests left and right to medals for Whyville age. I am constantly on the case! If it comes to individuals feeling inferior, I'm sorry to say but, I will not, I repeat NOT let it go! Hopefully some of you may agree with me, and give popularity contests a thumbs down! If you agree or even if you have an opposing thought, why-mail me; I'd be glad to meet in Whyville for a little debate.

Well, here's Bracelet, "bouncin' against the wall". LoL, chow for now!
