This is my submission to Richy605's photography contest.
I took this picture as my Queen Elizabeth roses were in full bloom. My favorite part about this type of rose is that the blooms are made of many tiny petals which form a perfect flower. I believe that this type of flower shows how truly beautiful the little things in nature are. If even one petal were to be removed from this flower, the overall beauty of the blossom would lessen. This rose is a small but powerful way nature's simplistic beauty can be expressed through flowers.
Author's Note: To accentuate the wonderful color a Queen Elizabeth rose has, I made it so the background leaves lost their green hue. This was done using the website picmonkey.com
