There is a question lurking
In irregular heads
How can one type of creature,
find success in the dead?
And if those creatures never speak,
(which they will likely not)
They cannot be nature's tail,
and its rebellious plot.

Now elephants are innocents,
and that's completely true.
And lions have their common sense
we sometimes call it cruel.
These creatures live on such an earth,
Where love can't coexist.
We've given up for all it's worth
there's so much that we've missed.

Lions don't like elephants
but elephants don't care.
Elephants don't hurt lions,
and lions don't play fair.
Elephants can't know the truth
about their lion friends.
Until the lion readies, well
ignorant elephants.
