I digress from all that must be said.
In light of sadness, cruelty, and shame
I give you the questions I ask
To God, I ask, if you shall respond,
Why, oh, why should you do this to us
The pain that we go through
The losses and famine
The starvation of those barely old enough to murmur,
And sadness and trauma
And continuous consequences
Of one awful mistake
A sin I committed,
Takes years to fasten
And to him, I ask,
Where should you be?
If happiness lies in existence
You being here, in all shape or forms, is vitally key
To place your faith in one single man
Took years to build Rome, not just one holy hand
And the pyramids, those too, took years and years to make
And you all mean to tell me this supposed God isn?t fake
And cancer,
And diabetes,
And pain,
And heartache
All part of life, under this holy man's wake
But to wake up for some, proves to be tedious a task
And to others unrealistic, as they take their last breath
But to others, as painful as life, nothing yet
To be born with disability, and struggle to trudge,
Through the mud and the dirt, and the pain we call
Life
