Alright, first off, we need to figure out the basics. What do you think "love" is? What are the most important things in a relationship? Do you know what you're looking for? These questions are super important when it comes to finding a romantic partner. I asked some Whyvillians to answer these questions, and this is what they had to say. I've answered these questions too, and I have to say, they were pretty difficult!

DahCutie: Two people with a bond deeper than words can describe.
Achay111: My definition of love is someone or something who is deeply passionate, and crazy about something.
XkaylaX5: It's when two people deeply understand each other and have feelings deeper than they can explain. Love isn't 6th grade love. It could be only if they make it serious not a dating for a day kinda relationship.
Ammen2012: I would have to say that in my opinion love is when two partners care deeply for each other.
MeBeLizzi: Whenever I've been asked this question, I've referred to the verse in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. I think that even from a non religious stance, this verse sums up a nice definition of love. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails."

PALNTING: Being able to communicate is very important, but I actually think the most important thing is to make sure you're happy with it. If you're not completely happy, change that.
DahCutie: The connection. If the two don't have a connection, it won't last long.
Barbie94: The most important thing in a relationship would be to trust your partner.
XkaylaX5: Trust.
MeBeLizzi: Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, in my opinion. I think that there needs to be a certain level of trust between any two people for a healthy relationship to even exist. You can't be checking up on your partner all the time. They have private businness, and it's important that you let them go about it. Showing them that you trust them not to do anything wrong is one of the best ways to show how much you love them.

PALNTING: Trustworthiness.
DahCutie: I would have to say loyalty. Staying loyal to the one whom you care about is the most important thing. Being protective and caring for the person, falls along the same lines of being loyal to your significant other.
Achay111: If they are themselves. Most people during the start of a relationship are crazy about each other, but as time goes on they become less in love.
Ammen2012: Loyalty. It is important that both partners stay loyal to each other for a relationship to work.
MeBeLizzi: This question gets me every single time! I'm always torn between a few personality traits . . . I personally think that the most important personality trait a guy could have is empathy. The ability to "walk in someone else's shoes".

PALNTING: Trust and honesty.
DahCutie: Kindness. Always being there for the other person, treating them well, and all around respecting them and their personal boundaries.
Barbie94: Humour and trust.
Achay111: Being honest and true to myself.
MeBeLizzi: Again, I think empathy is really important. When your partner is talking about something bad going on in their life, it's often annoying when the listener compares to their own similar situations, but when they can just say, "I don't understand, but I'm trying the best I can," and actually mean it, it's extremely comforting.
