It is that time of the year again (for some of you) to experience the wonderful-not-so-wonderful snow! I personally hate the cold, so I definitely hate the snow! However, it does make some great photographs with the snow sitting perfectly on some trees. This photograph is of part of my property last winter when we received a heavy amount of snowfall.
Did you know that the biggest snowstorm in the United States brought 50 inches of snow to Connecticut and Massachusetts in 1888? An astonishing 400 people lost their lives that day because of the snow. The most recent snowstorm that topped the scale was in 2011, where Wisconsin and Illinois received a whopping 1-2 feet!
Suit up, ladies and gents, and get out there during your first snowfall! If you live in a warm climate, play pretend!
